Current capital projects
The Annual Fund Committee met on 20th November 2007 to assess the latest applications from all three schools. Funding was allocated to the following 6 projects:
Upper ICT & Equipment
Initial funding for equipment for jewellery making and creative metalwork classes
3 A4 Wacom Graphic Tablets for the Art Department which will allow pupils to develop their ICT skills
Upper Sports
Improvements to the Fitness Suite, providing more aerobic and resistance equipment in order to meet the needs of girls and boys, of all ages
Prep
Drama - a visit by a French Drama company: Compagnie Tete-a-Tete, who will perform an interactive educational production allowing the pupils to explore the French language outside of the classroom
Outdoor pursuits - additional playground equipment including a range of both quiet and more physical activites
Pelican
Equipment - more Design Technology resources such as construction kits to provide the children with their first 3D design experiences
A second round of funding will be distributed in April 2008.
