Welcome
Helping make the Perse vision a reality
The Development Office aims to support the continuing development of The Perse through fundraising and by promoting the school’s achievements and aspirations as a centre of educational excellence, open to all.
Funding the development of The Perse is essential to its continuing success. The school has no permanent endowment and seeks to avoid placing the entire burden for future progress on school fees alone. Hence there are three major channels through which funds are raised:
The Annual Fund – every year, alumni, parents and friends are invited to support the Annual Fund, which provides for exciting new projects and initiatives chosen by staff and pupils, as well as supporting the school’s bursary fund.
Legacies – The Perse was established in 1615 thanks to the generous legacy of Dr Stephen Perse. Today, our supporters are encouraged to remember the school in their Will, to help provide for its long-term future.
Major Campaigns – Every few years, a major campaign is held to generate significant funding for major capital projects and bursary provision. The most recent example was the Access to Excellence campaign, which raised £3m in donations and pledges.
The Perse is deeply grateful to all its supporters to have contributed to one or more of these initiatives. Gifts of any size combine to make a huge difference. If you would like to make a donation, please use this website to find out more about our fundraising goals, visit our Make a Donation page, or contact the Development Office for further details.
Thank you for your support!
